Ashley Thornhill

I’m Ashley Thornhill — licensed esthetician since 2007, founder of Phoenix Salon + Spa, and creator of Ash Tree Collective.

In 2012, I co-founded La Mae Salon and Spa alongside my mother, Pat. What began as a family-built dream became an 11-year foundation in leadership, service, and entrepreneurship. In 2023, I closed that chapter to step fully into a new era — one defined by expansion, elevation, and long-term vision.

Phoenix Salon + Spa opened in November 2023 as a declaration of renewal. Today, it operates as a salon collective — home to a carefully curated group of independent hair and lash professionals who build their businesses within a shared, elevated environment. My vision is to create a space where both clients and service providers grow — personally, professionally, and financially.

With nearly two decades of experience, I specialize in corrective, customized skincare, advanced exfoliation and peel protocols, Brazilian waxing, and expert airbrush spray tanning. My approach blends clinical precision with intuitive care, prioritizing long-term skin health and lasting confidence.

Ash Tree Collective is the philosophy behind everything I build — inspired by the meaning of my name, “from the ash tree.” It represents resilience, grounding, healing, and intentional growth. Where Phoenix symbolizes the rise, Ash Tree Collective represents the roots. Together, they define my mission: to create spaces where women feel powerful, supported, and capable of becoming more.

Beyond the treatment room, I’m deeply committed to lifelong learning and growth. I’m an avid reader with a goal of reading 80 books this year, continually investing in leadership, mindset, and expansion. I’m also a proud aunt to 7 nieces and nephews and 6 great-nieces and nephews, and cat mom to Trudie. Family is my foundation — and building something meaningful for the next generation drives everything I do.
